Origin: product of USA. Prepared for Midamar Corporation, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Halal: Midamar work with several certifiers, most often Islamic Services of America (ISA). ISA’s certification of Midamar covers their beef line; this is a chicken product, machine cut rather than zabiha.
Storage: keep refrigerated or frozen.
Machine cut, not zabiha. Midamar divide their chicken into a Zabiha line and a Machine Cut line, and this product is the second. If you require hand slaughter, this is not the product for you — their zabiha range is a different line.
